21st September 2013 – It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Open Your Eyes News is to be closing down with immediate effect.
I would like to especially thank Kim for his technical expertise, my co-founder Collin for helping get it all off the ground 6 years ago, our 3 longest serving volunteers Daoud, Sonya & Janet, and all of the other volunteers who have so kindly helped out over the years.
Overall we have published in excess of 43,000 articles in this time, and these shall remain on the now static site for use as a research tool.
We may not have changed the world, but I do hope that we’ve had a positive effect on how you, our wonderful readers, have viewed this wonderful and complex world in which we live.
